HillFields and Foleshill are the only really bad Neighborhoods. Others like Holbrookes, Longford and Radford are good and bad depending on which part you’re in. Allesey, Earlsdon and Coundon are the best. read more

Better bets for a night out might be the pretty locales of Kenilworth, Leamington and Stratford just a few miles away but the City has some good restaurants/pubs, especially in Earlsdon, the teacher/artsy area. The suburbs aren't too bad actually. I lived in Coventry on and off for 25 years and felt much safer than parts of Birmingham. read more
