As a 15 year resident of Granada I would say the desireable inner city areas are Centro, (around the Cathedral) Plaza Nueva, Realajo and Albayzin. Apartments on the higher floors in Centro can be quite peaceful and away from street noise. read more

Good neighborhoods are Albaicin and Realejo. These two are historical places and the first one is recognized Unesco World Heritage Site. As for the bad neighborhoods, Haza Grande is the center of drug production and loud neighbors. read more
