“sensitive” neighbourhoods: la Paillade-Hauts de Massane,la Mosson, le Petit Bard, Celleneuve. Not sensitive but quite noisy at night : the station area, Saint-Roch ( great place if you like pubs, boho clothing stores and comic book stores though). read more

Montpellier is a great place just to hang out in cafes as the centre is pedestrian and there are so many gorgeous little squares - wander the lanes and decide where to stop! Also the area called Antigone is a bit different, sort of modern architectural stuff if you like that. read more
