With all of the comic book properties invading TV and movies over the last decade, it’s easy to want to jump headfirst into the medium and read everything within grabbing distance. As far as methodology goes for this top 100 comics list, I'm weighing based on several things: my personal enjoyment of the book, its use of word and art to present story, its level of technical achievement, its value on a host of wishy-washy criteria, and how well it sets out to meet its goal. read more

A post-cyberpunk comic book series written by Warren Ellis, with art by Darick Robertson, this is simply one of the best comics series of the last few years, mixing great characters, drama, humour and using the futuristic setting to parallel present day problems with wit and biting satire. read more
