LOS ANGELES (AP) — A California appellate court has upheld the constitutionality of a law enacted to curtail reckless driving by paparazzi. The law was used for the first time to prosecute a paparazzo accused of engaging in a high-speed chase of Justin Bieber on a Los Angeles highway in 2012. read more
AB 1256 amends the California Privacy Law to include within the definition of “personal and familial activity” activities of children occurring at private and public schools, activities occurring at various medical facilities, and activities occurring where a reasonable expectation of privacy exists at other locations. read more
