In Stoicism you are thriving to be Virtuous (Courage, Justice, Wisdom and Self Control). Different end goals but a lot of overlap between the two. Edit: Buddhism without accepting rebirth isn't Buddhism. Escaping rebirth is the main goal and it can take many life times to do it.
