My Amish neighbors asked us if they could put a phone booth on our property and pay the bills. Because the phone is not on their property, they do not own it and are allowed to use it. This may seem hypocritical of their culture, but a phone is critical when it comes to emergencies and going long-distance. read more

If I really had to find something really hypocritical it would be the big role luxury products (cars, clothing, design products etc.) play in the italian economy compared to the shrinking number of people that can actually afford them. read more
