Using baby oil for tanning seems to me to be pretty dangerous - the cons outweigh the pros. As the article says, it might give you an"even" tan, but it also contains no sunscreens to filter out harmful rays from the sun. read more

There are no “pros” to tanning with baby oil. There’s no protection from UVB or UVA rays. You just burn (big “con”). Using baby oil is a product from my teen years growing up in the 1960s on the sunny beaches of southern California. read more
