What are the pros and cons of living in Richmond, VA?

Richmond is kind of cool because it's a city of polarities, you have the more liberal, artsy fartsy, fun vibe the closer you move to VCU campus, and then the long time conservative richmonders in the outskirts, so there's a place for you regardless where you fall. read more

Richmond is awesome! Very different from southern cali though. If you want to like close to MCV and in a nice area, I'd suggest living in Church Hill. It's a quaint area with plenty of good restaurants and its within biking distance of MCV (although there are some gnarly hills you'd have to go up). Another awesome area to live in is the Fan. read more
