Pros- like everyone above said, there's always something to do. Theme parks, festivals, beaches, pro and college games, nice malls, restaurants, Ect. Tampa has fair share of good and bad neighborhoods just like Houston. Cons- Summers can be brutal. Hot and humid. read more

Pros: Tampa consistently ranks very high in the "Things to Do" category. Always stuff going on, festivals, good restaurants, world class beaches nearby, outdoor activities, and not far from all the touristy stuff in Orlando for weekend day trips. read more
