What are the state colors for Maine and why were the chosen?

I don’t know about “State Colors,” but Maine’s State flag is not known to have any official colors. The only color specified in the original description was that the blue behind the Maine State shield had to be the same as the blue field behind the stars on the flag of the United States. read more
