The first astronaut autobiography I ever read was Mike Collins' Carrying the Fire, and it holds a place in my heart even today, decades later. Gene Cernan's Last Man on the Moon is pretty good too: different from Collins' self-effacing work, Cernan is a driven man, and it shows.
