What can Joomla do that WordPress can't?

Joomla can f$ck up in such a manner that WordPress can't. Almost exactly opposite for Wordpress, it can also F$ck up in such a way that Joomla can't. Things look cool for a demo site, new site, medium range sites. But there are issues core issues that both CMS can't handle. EX: Try making 1000 pages. In theory there really isn't anything that can't be done in WordPress but can in a more robust CMS like Joomla or Drupal (my personal preference), but at a certain point the customizations needed to acheive tasks in WordPress require either building new features from the ground up working within the WordPress framework, or using a plugin that someone else has developed. read more

There is no hiding from the fact that WordPress is substantially better for SEO than Joomla. While Joomla isn’t horrible in the SEO department, it can be a bit of a hassle to get 100% right.
