Not having front teeth and prehensile lips like a horse makes getting it to the molars a bit hard!) but eventually gave them Purina's Dobbin Delights apple and oat flavored horse treats. Cattle like sweet things. If you get anything with molasses or non citris fruits gets them going! If you can get to know an individual, you can find the favorite and move them anywhere with it. Most cattle owners have cattle cubes on their property and would prefer that their cattle are fed that instead of a foreign food to their digestive tract.
