Aspen soda was an "Crisp and clear" apple flavored soda created by PepsiCo in the late 70's. It was meant to compete with all the lemon lime sodas on the market, which there were many of. For some reason, though, there wasn't an apple flavored soda, and PepsiCo stuck a bunch of money trying to fill this void. read more

Jolly Rancher Green Apple soda is probably the closest thing currently on the market that tastes like Aspen Soda. You can also mix one packet of green apple flavored Kool-Aid with 1 cup sugar (or splenda, for pseudo Diet Aspen Soda) and one quart of club soda. read more
