A lot of people will probably answer one of the major powers in world war one. I don't, for a few good reasons. 1 - Britain was very influential in the war. If anything, the British Empire was instrumental to the downfall of the Ottomans. It hurt the German Empire considerably too, and was a major cause of its losses in Northern France. read more
The two sides of the war consisted of the Allied Powers (France, Great Britain, Russia, the United States, and other smaller counties) and the Central Powers (Germany, Austria-Hungary, and Turkey/Ottoman Empire, along with other smaller country support). read more
