No but i think that the president thought that Hitler was a mad man who needed to be stopped before he destroyed both of heir homelands. Yes the President was but it needed to be done in order to save the lives of the other nations, and the Germans who were not out fighting but were still at home trying to survive in a country that was being bombed and starved to death on Hitlers rampage. read more

Best Answer: Eisenhower disliked Hitler, until he inspected the Concentration Camps, then I don't think you could of found someone on Earth (except the survivors of the Holocaust) who hated Hitler more. Though, he was dead by then, of course. Hitler did respect the west, especially Britain, but I don't think he liked anyone that much. read more
