I would say that end stage renal disease is a pretty painless way to die. Heart attacks and heart failure are typically painful or uncomfortable, unless it is “sudden death” type of heart attack, where you simply lose consciousness pretty much immediately. Sometimes, a sudden death while asleep does occur, which is probably the most painless. read more
