Pizza in the US is essentially one thing. There is an unspoken limit on what is part of a pizza. In Italy, no so much. So, there are pizzas that are awesome and pizzas that are insane. But, when you go with the basic cheese pizza, the authentic Italian is better, usually. I think it has something to do with the people that make it. read more

Italian Pizza and American pizza sort of look alike but that’s it. From my experience the Italians think of pizza as more of a snack or small lunch, something you eat in the park. American pizza comes in all forms, thick crust (damn near a loaf of bread) , pan pizza, and thin crust. read more
