What do British people call grilled cheese?

In the UK we have similar things. There is the toastie which is a toasted sandwich of which cheese can be filling solo or accompanied. There is also cheese on toast which is one slice of toast with cheese melted onto the top (recommend Edam cheese). Or there is Welsh Rarebit or rabbit. read more
