What do Chinese people think about Chinese food in the US?

The best is dishes cooked by 1st generation Chinese immigrants. I've had those several times. Not very high class, but tastes good. Best thing about these dishes is that they are diverse, very representative of cuisines from different regions of China. read more

Even my grandmother who has ever been to US with my grandfather and granduncle told me that the Chinese food in the US is lousy especially at the takeout restaurants because many of the dishes from the takeout restaurants are poorly made and taste horrible.
