What do cows think about?

Not being a cow it's hard to tell exactly what goes through their heads but having worked with them my whole life I'd say I have as good of a chance of knowing as anyone. read more

Cows think the same way they have always thought, Food, Food, Food. They do not think about not pooping on the groceries. They do not think about not packing into the fence corners during a blizzard and freezing to death while standing up. read more

I'd like to think they don't think much of it or have any concern as long as their bellies are full and they have a nice, stress-free and comfortable place to stay in. read more

PBS did a special on cows a few years ago. It was funny to see that if a trailer for taking them to the fair was parked in the pasture and left open, they'd climb into it and wait. The reason was the ones who had experienced it knew how much they'd be pampered at the fair- fed well, washed and groomed. read more
