While I agree with other comments that Armenia isn't a well know nation among Italians, I would say that at least in north eastern Italy there is some degree of acknowledgment of Armenian's culture and history. read more

I’m pretty sure most Italians couldn’t locate Armenia on a world map even if their life depended on it, as it is often (and sadly) the case with too many ex-Soviet countries (which are still perceived today mostly as a singular indistinct entity made of ex-Soviet countries with the exception of Russia itself and Poland). read more
