This is true for all creatures, mythical or not. Carnivores usually do not taste very good. So dragons, manticores, sphinxes, griffins and the like would taste awful. Unicorns, as herbivores, would taste good (like horse, but with 10x the guilt). Also, many mythical creatures are chimeras, combining features of multiple creatures into one. read more
