Depends on the individual. For me? Lunch and dinner are often the same thing, though perhaps on different days. I'm a bachelor, as such my view may be a bit skewed… but my approach to meals (Lunch/Dinner) is to minimize dishes and cooking I need to do. People in the United States come from hundreds of backgrounds and ethnicity. While one may eat a burger for lunch and a steak for dinner another might eat kimchi and rice and mutton for the same meals. Many people eat at American restaurants for these meals.
