Platypuses are a protected species in Australia so it is unlikely that there is much opportunity to try their meat. They are mammals so theoretically, they would taste like meat and not fish or poultry. They are extremely poisonous but perhaps the poison is restricted to the barbs on their feet/flipper/thingies. I have no desire to try one. read more
