What do you eat on Christmas eve?

When Christmas was banned in Scotland after the Reformation, Presbyterian ministers visited their flock to check they had no festive foods in the house. dcs have sausage rolls, party type platter (tescos or marks). me and dh have a takeaway,when children in bed. then i play father christmas, dh falls asleep. My mum then usually pops round to sneak a look at the christmas presents round the tree scene, and we sit and drink baileys for an hour before bed.Very greedy and unhealthy but i love this routine. read more
