What do you think about Bridgeport, Connecticut?

The idea that Bridgeport is some violent place you want to avoid at all costs is baffling to me. Bridgeport has wonderful parks ( Veterans park, Beardlsey Park, Seaside). Beautiful neighborhoods (Lakeside, Northend, Broadbridge,) Good colleges (UB, Housatonic) & many nice restaurants. Of course it has it's bad parts. read more

The Bridgeport-Port Jefferson Ferry has linked the Connecticut coastline to Long Island since 1883. The ever-industrious P.T. Barnum was the first president of the steamboat company that established the line. read more
