That is a subjective response from baking my own bread and others may find Panera delectable but imagine they don’t do much of their own baking. Personally day-old artisan bread, minus the commercial extenders typical in grocery breads, is best as toast or grilled cheese or French toast. Redone in some fashion to liven the flavors. read more
