A lot of them are pretty nice people who believe in proselytizing. There's always deviation like every group but any Witness who showed up at my door would be offered tea, coffee, or water and a place to sit while being clear that I'm an atheist. read more

Whatever you think of them as individuals, and I am sure many are nice, the main thing to remember about Jehovah’s Witnesses is: if you are a baptised Jehovah’s Witness, and commit a sin (that can be smoking, having sex before marriage, asking questions about the organisation etc. and do not show yourself as repentant, you will be shunned. read more
