What do you think of the Jehovah's Witnesses?

A lot of them are pretty nice people who believe in proselytizing. There's always deviation like every group but any Witness who showed up at my door would be offered tea, coffee, or water and a place to sit while being clear that I'm an atheist. read more

Whatever you think of them as individuals, and I am sure many are nice, the main thing to remember about Jehovah’s Witnesses is: if you are a baptised Jehovah’s Witness, and commit a sin (that can be smoking, having sex before marriage, asking questions about the organisation etc. and do not show yourself as repentant, you will be shunned. read more

Although they do believe that a certain select group will receive a heavenly reward, Jehovah’s Witnesses believe that God will cleanse the Earth of wickedness in the near future. They also believe that God will reintroduce the paradise conditions that He intended for the human race in the beginning. read more
