What does basal cell carcinoma feel like?

Basal cell carcinoma can look different. You may notice a skin growth in a dome shape that has blood vessels in it. It can be pink, brown, or black. I’ve had two removed. They don’t feel like anything. Usually discolored skin with a pearl-like texture, or sometimes a bump that won’t heal easily and keeps coming back. Have suspicious spots checked. If a biopsy determines them to be basal cell, they’ll be removed. read more
