I tastes nothing like regular Texas style chili. Very aromatic with spices like cinnamon and cardamom. Cincinnati had a lot of Greek emigrants, so it originated in the Greek delis which became chili parlors. Even so, it's not “Greek cuisine”. It tastes like Cincinnati Skyline chili con carne, made with black beans. It's a favorite Korean version of a Chinese noodle dish, a savory meat (minced pork) stew with sweet overtones, with well-cooked, diced carrot and potato, over wheat noodles. The sauce base is a paste of salted black soybeans. read more
