What does fried bass taste like?

well, I find it to taste kinda like catfish,without the funny muddy taste that catfish sometimes has..a little lighter in taste I'd say..the only way ill eat it is pan fried in butter and lemon pepper..no breading..bass is about the only fresh water fish I'll eat. read more

Bass out of a lake with a lot of algae will taste like algae, and bass from muddy water will taste like mud. Bass from clear clean water will taste just fine. However, I like my cats better cuz they taste like chicken. read more
