What does it mean if a bird hits your window?

I get asked the question a lot as to what the meaning is when a bird hits the window. Well, a bird hit my window as i was writing my ex, to see if he was ok since i had a bad dream that something bad happened to him. When a bird hits your window, it means that looking into the glass of your window, it sees a tree behind it, that is, it flies by the tree, sees the tree again (in your window), and thinks your window is another tree. It hits the glass, often with quite a force, killing or injuring itself. I had a beautiful leucisitic veery die this way last Spring. Pictures, like decals actually, of a stabilimentum can be bought and put in your window to let a bird know your window is a window and not a tree. read more
