I think it sticks to most rough grain wood. Aka wood that hasn't been sanded very smooth yet. It also likely sticks in large grain wood, like ash, opposed to a tighter grain, like purple heart or maple. It also sticks to carpet, but regrettably… it does not stick to the hair of older sisters. read more

If it's a soft foam like a cushion then use a broken match concealed horizontally in the play-doh! and use that to locate stitches so your're effectively treating it like a toggle fastener. Absolutely no idea if or how sucessful this will be, but only solutions I can think of to stick two low friction elements together. read more
