I don't know about you guys, but I do not care for the taste of striped bass. My wife is the best cook in the area, but even she cannot get rid of the fishy odor and the mushy consistency. I ice my fish right after catching them, but it is no good. read more
If prepared properly, it’s a fine tasting fish. I’ve caught and eaten a number of them and would again. The flesh is fairly mild and borderline fatty. Somewhere between firm and flakey. read more
