What does Warren Buffet thinks of bitcoin and blockchain?

Warren Buffett seems to have some negative sentiment towards Bitcoin (which is only the first logical application on top of the new technology called the Blockchain), as explained here calling it a ‘mirage’ while Marc Andreessen debates that point, and he firmly disagrees that it has huge ‘intrinsic value’. read more

I think as the underlying blockchain gains increased traction we will see him become more vocal. The size of the bitcoin market is very small - c $16bn capitalization - and is very “niche” at the moment by comparison to global equity markets. read more
