As a Leeds supporter who watched them in the Revie years, I remember Leeds beating Stoke City 1–0 at Elland Rd and thinking ( Must have been, 10–12 ish years old) that was a struggle (Gordon Banks was an hero for Stoke that day) Anyway I had a nightmare vision, I thought, imagine if Leeds were shite, or my penname and lo and behold, Don Revie moved to the England job. read more
