What happened to the books 'The Dresden Files' by Jim Butcher?

The series is still on going. Currently, there are 15 books in the series. Number 16 was due out by summer of 2016, but has ran behind in its publication. Many fans are patiently awaiting news on its release date, and others, not so patiently. read more

Dresden is expected to go to 20-21 novels in his (case files) collection, and then an apocalyptic trilogy to cap the series off. So, there is an expected 8-10 more books planned for this series. Harry Blackstone Copperfield Dresden, should be around for some time to come. read more
