What has a worse sting a Japanese giant hornet or bullet ant?

That’s still 4–8 hours of horrible pain, but the bullet ant pain lasts 24 hours and is somehow worse. Note also that P. maricopa is a small ant, so it does not inject much venom. The Japanese hornet, however, is very large (almost 5cm long!) and injects more venom per sting, plus it lives in areas with a lot of people. read more
