Most likely Sony have reduced their TV output in response to their financial losses over the past couple of years. According to the UK Guardian (as well as many other media outlets), Sony reported a loss of £202m for their last quarter (April to June 2012). This loss was mainly felt in the Television and Games Console arenas. read more
