Living bacteria have been found on the outside of the International Space Station, and they may be extraterrestrial, according to one cosmonaut. Russian engineer Anton Shkaplerov said the microorganisms were not there at the launch of the ISS in 1998 and so likely 'flew from somewhere in space'. read more
