Had FDR gotten involved in WWII in 1939, the American people would have been extreamly angry about it, as would congress. He would probably be impeached and removed from office if he did not back down very fast. The American people were very angry about so many Americans being killed in WWI, in their opinion, for no good reason at all. read more
