What if Greece and Turkey unified as a secular republic?

Greece and Turkey can not unify under one republic. They can only be unified under a confederate government structure which was an idea of Atatürk and Venizelos. Alas this has never happened. In my opinion, if this ever happens one day Greece would benefit much more than Turkey. read more

Turkey is a secular country. Greece is not a secular country. Turkey has a non-secular goverment, but I think Greece has secular one. Some regions in Turkey couldn’t be describe as secular. On the other hand, there is woman-banned area in Greece -Mounth Athos- because of Orthodox believes. read more
