Kennedy probably does not remarry while still in office, although he may after leaving in 1965 or 1969. Lyndon Johnson probably runs for president in 1968 against Nixon. Bobby Kennedy may be nominated instead of Johnson, and may or may not be killed anyway. Ted may not enter the senate given that the family already has two statesmen. read more
Kennedy had the image of being a man of the people, LBJ didn't. Legislation accomplishments is another matter. By assuming Kennedy remained president, you can look at the list of bills passed under LBJ and wipe out half of them. read more
