What inspired the manga 'Warriors'?

I asked her and she told me a publisher (Tokyopop at the time I believe) came to her and offered a deal for a Warriors manga. My personal theory is that Warriors is popular with preteens and early teens, around the same age where kids get introduced to manga and anime. read more
