Victoria the Queen by Julia Baird is very good. An older biography is Queen Victoria by Elizabeth Longford. Lytton Strachey wrote one of the first books about Victoria, but I didn’t care for his. A very interesting one is Farewell in Splendor by Jerrold Packer which focuses on Victoria’s last illness, her death and funeral. read more
