A main base is typically on the flyer's right side. She/he will hold most of the flyer's weight while in a lib and when doing a stunt such as a full up, will have a different grip than the side base. read more

In a typical stunt, a main base would be on the right side of the flyer. A side base on the left, but if you are doing a two legged stunt i.e. elevator/extension there really is no difference between them! One legged stunts can vary by the difficulty of the stunt. read more
