The symptoms of a mini heart attack are chest discomfort that lasts for a few minutes, discomfort in other areas of the body such as the arms or jaw, difficulty breathing, feeling nauseous or light-headed, a racing heart and cold sweats, according to the American Heart Association. read more

The main distinction between mini heart attack symptoms and pre heart attack symptoms is the duration of symptoms. Angina is pre heart attack. You can have stable angina where the blood flow to your heart is restricted but not completely obstructed. You get mini heart attack symptoms with exertion but they promptly go away with rest.
