The ASL has a high, mid and low setting, which one would get the best result? RTFM. High, Med (or is it Mid, I am not in the car right now), and low are how much effect the ASL has. On "high" I found myself adjusting the volume as much as if the ASL was not on at all. If I set the volume in my driveway, The ASL would turn the volume up too much when I got on the freeway. read more
The JBL stereo that came with my '09 Double Cab 4x4 with Bluetooth simply has an ON or OFF ASL (automatic sound leveling) system. It is not adjustable per the manual. I find it to be inadequate (I prefer it louder when going faster and quieter when going slower) so I use the buttons on the steering wheel. read more
